Kate Middleton dazzled her fans at the Royal Ascot.
On day two of Britain's most prestigious annual horse-racing event, a young child managed to not only catch the attention of the Princess of Wales, 44, but also get a sweet, personalized shout-out.
In a video shared by a fan page on X, footage from Wednesday, June 17, showed the princess sitting inside a horse-drawn carriage for the Royal Procession beside her husband, Prince William, as the pair were engaged in conversation with another couple.

“Princess Kate!” a child yelled from off camera.
At first, she continued with the conversation, but soon after realizing the voice came from a child, the royal stopped and turned around to engage.
The princess gleefully waved at her young admirer and replied, “I can still see you!”
She also spoke with others throughout the event, as captured in a video shared to Instagram by King's Guard Tours showing a fan behind the camera telling Princess Kate that she "looked gorgeous."
"Thank you! I'm hoping the sun stays out," the royal replied, which was followed by laughs from onlookers.
“Princess Catherine Looks Stunning In Summer Yellow 💛,” the social media account wrote of her Roksanda Brigitte dress with a matching hat.
As the FIFA World Cup continues, Prince William, 43, also acknowledged Ascot attendees while discussing soccer.
"William, Up the Villa," someone said in another video shared by King's Guard Tours', dropping a popular rallying cry for Aston Villa F.C. fans, his go-to soccer team.
"Oh, oh," the Prince of Wales replied, prompting laughs from those in the crowd as well as Princess Kate.
"I think people are saying that now," the royal joked about the phrase's traction. "Are you?" he asked.

"Good season," William added with a laugh — and a wink.
Princess Kate made her return to the Royal Ascot for the first time since 2023.
Her three-year hiatus follows her cancer diagnosis, which she announced in March 2024. She finished her chemotherapy treatment in September of that same year and announced that she was in remission in January 2025.
