A man who has allegedly been in hiding following the death of his wife was arrested in Georgia this week.
Job Da Luz De Freitas-Junior was arrested in Sandy Springs, Ga. on Thursday, April 30, the Sandy Springs Police announced in a statement.
De Freitas-Junior is wanted in his native Brazil on pending homicide charges in connection to the death of his wife, authorities say. Other details, such as woman's identity or when she was killed, have not been disclosed by U.S. officials.
On Thursday, local authorities were tipped off by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) about De Freitas-Junior's presence in Sandy Springs, police said in the statement.
Sandy Springs investigators were able to provide "actionable information" to ICE, who then arrested De Freitas-Junior.

ICE further alleges they received tips suggesting the suspect may be linked to the "ongoing physical abuse of another woman," according to the statement.
De Freitas-Junior is currently in custody of ICE, Sandy Springs police said, and is awaiting extradition to Brazil.
