Now that we’re midway through summer, I say it’s time to give our wardrobes a little refresh. The easiest way to give new life to those go-to outfits you’ve worn all season is by adding a few new pairs of shoes to the rotation.

I’ve been wearing these heels out to dinner, special events, and brunch with friends, and I’m about ready to grab them in a second color. My feet don’t feel fatigued after wearing them for long periods of time (I’ve even worn them for eight hours straight) — and there’s no strap chaffing either. I never feel like I’m struggling to walk since the heels are nice and low, and basically just feel like I’m wearing flip-flops. I have the brown pair, and definitely want to grab the black ones, too.

The strappy upper gives these shoes a little flair to pair with your next outfit. They slip right on, and the sole is padded so it keeps your feet comfortable for long days of wear. The heels are just over 2 inches, and shoppers say they feel great.

Wedge sandals are popular this summer, and these are at the top of my cart. The short wedge looks similar to the flip-flop kitten heels, and I love the jelly-like straps for a Y2K touch. As a bonus, wedges are notoriously comfortable to walk in. A shopper called them the “must-buy wedge for summer,” and added that they “held up so well” on vacation. The contoured footbed supports your feet — and they come in four colors, too.
