Abrams' boyfriend Paul Mescal, 30, was not in attendance with her, as he was at a different wedding.
Abrams met Swift before opening for the 14-time Grammy winner on her Eras Tour in 2023. The pair later collaborated on the 2024 song "Us," which was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
In a January 2025 interview with Sofia Coppola for ELLE, Abrams shared what it was like to open for Swift during The Eras Tour, as well as what it was like discovering the duo were nominated for a Grammy together.
“To be in the same orbit as Taylor and her entire team, from her dancers, to her band, to the crew, being in the same vicinity as a group of people who are so committed to making something extraordinary happen every single night of the show, it's a privilege to see it all go down," Abrams told the publication.
The "Tough Love" performer also said that she and Swift had “a fun, squeal-y conversation on the phone” after finding out about their nomination.
“It's such a crazy, full-circle thing to be nominated for a Grammy with Taylor, who I grew up idolizing. Especially all of her moments at the Grammys over the years have been so ingrained and burned in my head,” Abrams added.
Abrams has previously shared that meeting Swift felt like they "had known each other already," per an August 2024 interview with U.K. newspaper the Sunday Times.
“When I met [Swift], it kind of felt like we had known each other already, which I'm sure there was an element of just like the parasocial relationship thing,” Abrams said at the time. “I've grown up with her voice in my headphones my entire life.”
Abrams added to the outlet that her friend Swift, who is also a mentor to her, is “a safe place to land any time I've ever had any questions about anything.”
Swift and Kelce, both 36, first started dating in 2022. They broke the internet when they got engaged in August 2025.
The two announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post, which included several photos from their enchanting garden proposal. The pictures showed Kelce getting down on one knee and the pair embracing each other after he popped the question.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," Swift wrote in the caption.
Swift's rep confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple tied the knot in a star-studded wedding on July 3.
The 14-time Grammy winner transformed Madison Square Garden's interior for the occasion, which featured an estimated 1,000 guests. The wedding was officiated by Adam Sandler.
Reese Witherspoon, Emma Stone and Paul Rudd were just a few of the stars seen leaving the venue as the festivities went from Friday evening through early Saturday morning.
