Elizabeth Hurley is opening up about her time with Billy Ray Cyrus at the Stagecoach Music Festival last month.
Hurley, 60, caught up with PEOPLE on the red carpet at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's Hot Pink Party in New York City on Tuesday, May 12. "I really enjoyed it," she says of Stagecoach, the California-set country music festival she attended with Cyrus, 64, and his daughter Noah and son Braison in April. Braison, 32, and Billy Ray took to the stage during the event to perform their recent single "On Our Way Along" with Noah, 26.
"There are a lot of cowboy hats, a lot of cowboy boots, great music, sawdust on the floor," Hurley adds. "What more could you ask for? It was a really lovely experience. I'm so glad I went."
Hurley and Cyrus first met when they worked together on the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise with Kelsey Grammer, not long after Cyrus split from his ex-wife Tish Cyrus. Billy Ray married singer Firerose in 2023, but their marriage lasted only seven months. Hurley and Billy Ray reconnected when she reached out to him some two years after their first meeting. They hard-launched their relationship in April 2025 when they posted photos of themselves kissing over the Easter holiday.
"They've been seeing each other romantically for a little bit," a source told PEOPLE of their romance at the time. "And how lucky is he? Liz is lovely. She's very warm, positive and the best to be around."

"Yeeehaaaaaw. Loved my first trip to Stagecoach watching @billyraycyrus @noahcyrus and @braisonccyrus perform their new single On Our Way Along 💗💗💗," Hurley wrote on Instagram on April 25.
Outside of Hurley's relationship with Cyrus and her acting career, she is a longtime advocate for breast cancer awareness who has worked with Estée Lauder on its awareness campaigns for more than 30 years. "I think over the years I've really learned how when you're passionate about a cause, you never get bored of supporting it, you only feel more inspired to support it more," she tells PEOPLE. "So I've met so many people who've been affected by breast cancer, whether they've been diagnosed themselves or whether they've lost somebody they loved, that every year I just feel more and more committed to what our friend Evelyn Lauder started out [to do], which was that one day we live in a breast cancer-free world."
On the red carpet, Hurley also tells PEOPLE that she's listened to Cyrus' upcoming album The Hill "many times" already. "It is rooted in country, but there's a little blue grass in there and it's quite a mixture actually, but they're beautiful tracks," she adds.
