Daryl Hannah Young has been making a splash since she first stepped onto the scene in the 80s. The blonde bombshell became fascinated with film while growing up in Chicago, Illinois. She later moved to L.A. to attend the University of Southern California, where she studied ballet and acting. Daryl would catch her big break with the Brian De Palma horror flick The Fury, but it would be her part as a mermaid in 1984’s Splash that made her a household name. The star would continue to work through the ’90s and 2000s, appearing in hits like the Grumpy Old Men movies and Quentin Tarantino‘s Kill Bill series.

Through the years, Daryl has dated A-listers like musician Jackson Browne and the late John F. Kennedy Jr. Their relationship was depicted in the Hulu series Love Story. She began dating Neil Young in 2014, and the pair wed in 2018. In addition to acting, Daryl is an environmental activist who has been a vegetarian since she was 11.
