Being a dad doesn’t come with a time limit, and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars have proven it. From Al Pacino to Robert De Niro, plenty of celebrities have welcomed children later in life, becoming fathers in their 60s, 70s, and even 80s.

Pacino made headlines when he welcomed his fourth child, son Roman, with film producer Noor Alfallah in June 2023 at age 83. The Oscar winner is also father to daughter Julie Marie and twins Anton and Olivia. Meanwhile, De Niro became a father for the seventh time in 2023 when he and Tiffany Chen welcomed daughter Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro. He was 79 at the time.

They’re far from the only stars to embrace fatherhood later in life. From legendary actors and musicians to television icons, these famous dads expanded their families well past the age many people expect.
