- Kevin recorded a heartfelt video message for the newlyweds, which left the bride thrilled when she saw it
Kevin Jonas surprised a bride with a sweet message after missing her wedding.
Alex McCoy and Daniel Lopez said "I do" in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 23. The day before, the bride made a video inviting Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas to her wedding at Caesars Palace because she's a longtime fan and knew they were in town May 20-24 for their concerts at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
"Hi, Jonas Brothers!" McCoy said in a video filmed and posted on Instagram by her wedding content creator, Emily Cline. "So I heard you guys are in Vegas, and I'd love for you to come to my wedding tomorrow on Saturday, May 23, at Caesars Palace at 5:15 p.m. You're my first love, so I'd love to have you all there."

Cline, who founded Wedding Day Content Creator, tells PEOPLE that she did everything in her power to get the Jonas Brothers to appear at McCoy's wedding, including sending them DMs.
"I run into Joe Jonas at random times, and I said [to McCoy], 'So, I'm going to manifest this. I feel like they'll come. I feel like we can make this happen,' " Cline tells PEOPLE.
Despite Cline's efforts, the trio didn't show up.
Days later on Monday, May 25, Cline boarded a Jet Blue flight from Las Vegas to Newark. By chance, Kevin, 38, was on the plane too.
"I can't believe it happened," she tells PEOPLE. "It was like crazy serendipity."
Cline was casually chatting to the passenger next to her in the fifth row about her failed Jonas Brothers wedding plan when a mother and daughter across from them overheard their conversation.
"[The mother] leaned over and she said, 'I don't mean to be rude and interrupt, but you do know Kevin Jonas is on our flight, right?' " Cline remembers. "And I said, 'What?' And she said, 'Yeah, he's sitting in row one.' "

The content creator was shocked to see Kevin with his daughters, Alena, 12, and Valentina, 9. Cline, the woman sitting next to her, and the mother-daughter duo then brainstormed a respectful way to get Kevin to check his business DMs that didn't involve Cline walking over and bothering the family.
"I just wanted to try to pass him a note that said to check his business DMs from Wedding Day Content Creator, and then I was going to send him another one that was going to ask him, 'Hey, after we step off the flight, would it be okay if I got a recording of you reacting to the video or even a video message for the couple or something like that?' " Cline explains.
She continues, "We got to planning as to how we were going to get his attention and how to get a note passed and the whole thing. It turned into this bond between the four of us."

Cline's opportunity came when Kevin was walking down the aisle after using the bathroom.
"I had a message written on my phone, and I wanted to be respectful, not draw a lot of attention to him, so I just flagged him down and passed him my phone," Cline says. "He looked at me, and he goes, 'Oh my gosh, we know all about the video.' "
Kevin told Cline that he, Nick and Joe had, in fact, seen her post, but that they were busy that day recording an episode for their podcast, Hey Jonas!, and performing. He was happy to film a video for the newlyweds though.
"Alex, Daniel, I'm sorry we couldn't make the wedding. Congratulations, enjoy it," Kevin said in the video, which was posted by Cline on Instagram.
Once McCoy returned home from her nuptials, Cline FaceTimed her to deliver Kevin's message.

McCoy gasped and exclaimed, "It's Kevin!" when she saw the video. She added, "Oh, my God. How cute. Love you guys!"
Cline tells PEOPLE that her experience getting Kevin's video participation was "so much fun." She says, "At the end of the flight, all of us were like, 'All right, well now we're connected for life because we worked for hours to try to make this happen.' "
After the plane landed, Cline and Kevin crossed paths again at baggage claim. They spoke about their careers, and even bonded over the "crazy" coincidence that Cline shot her first wedding at Oheka Castle, where Kevin married wife Danielle Jonas in 2009.
