They have “zero downsides”

Few people put sneakers to the test quite like nurses. Spending 12-plus hours on their feet, they know exactly which pairs actually have lasting support and which ones leave feet aching by the end of a shift. That's why I took notice when I found dozens of Amazon shoppers — many of them nurses — raving about the Abboos Slip-On Sneakers. These lightweight walking shoes have earned praise for their all-day comfort, breathable mesh design, and wide-foot-friendly fit — and right now they're on sale at Amazon.

As I sifted through hundreds of reviews, one theme kept popping up: Nurses who spend entire shifts on their feet swear by these sneakers. One who wore them for “12 hours a day” called their pair "very comfortable," noting that they were "wide-foot-friendly" and had "lasted a surprisingly long time for the price."

The sneakers feature a cushioned insole for soft, supportive comfort, while the flexible design moves naturally with your feet throughout the day. The thoughtful style extends to the fit, too: While the laces provide a secure feel, the wide opening makes them easy to slip on and off. For one nurse, that blend of comfort and convenience was enough to justify buying multiple pairs in different colors (there are 10 to choose from). They praised the lightweight construction, all-day comfort, and slip-on ease, noting they found "zero downsides.”

Shoppers pointed out that they hold their own against much pricier sneakers, too. One nurse said they even "outperformed" shoes they’ve worn from Clove, Brooks and Nike when it came to overall fit and cushioning.

They also have a durable rubber outsole that helps absorb impact while providing traction and stability on a variety of surfaces. Plus, the simple, sporty design pairs easily with everything from leggings and joggers to jeans, workout wear, and, of course, scrubs.
