- She believes the change was due to a “hormone issue”
A woman's boobs increased in size years after she had a breast augmentation.
Cameron Sloane underwent a boob job in 2018, and she praised the results as "perfect," stating that the "shape was very proportional to my frame," according to Kennedy News and Media.
Years later, as she entered her 40s in 2021, Sloane said her breasts randomly "just started to grow — and there was no stopping them."
"I have a small frame, and I had a lot of back issues," she recalled. "It was just very uncomfortable, and clothes didn't fit properly. I wear a size small, but lots of the clothes [weren't] accommodating."
Sloane, now 45, believes the change in the size of her breasts was due to a "hormone issue." According to the Cleveland Clinic, breasts continue to change after puberty, fluctuating in size and shape, and later in life, especially during menopause, hormone changes can affect breasts too.

For more than a year, Sloane contemplated going to a surgeon to help fix her breast size issues.
She looked for a doctor who could keep her preferred breast shape, and she eventually underwent surgery in December 2025.

"The pain in my lower back, and the way I felt in clothes, made me realize it was time to have the surgery," Sloane said. "Carrying around these 'boulders' was hard."
She added, "I feel so much more comfortable and confident. I can wear clothes I haven't been able to wear in years. I feel sexier in lingerie now too."

Sloane now hopes her story will inspire others, whether they are looking into undergoing a breast augmentation or are concerned medically about their boobs.
"Do what makes you feel sexy," she said. "As women in our forties, bodies do change in ways we least expect it."
"If it's something you are struggling with, and [it] affects your physical well-being, you should fix it," Sloane added.
Sloane also said there should never be any shame when it comes to how women take care of or alter their own bodies.
"Lots of women enhance their breasts to feel better, [so] the same thing goes in the other direction with women who choose to reduce," she said.
