Prince Harry and King Charles III haven’t seen each other in seven months — and they won’t cross paths during the monarch’s upcoming visit to the United States.
“When you’re talking about a state visit, every minute is accounted for — especially when it’s the King traveling as the invited guest of a head of state,” People reported on Tuesday.
A source told the outlet that Harry, 41, “knows how things are.”
The Duke of Sussex, who lives in Montecito, California, with wife Meghan Markle and their two children, allegedly “wouldn’t ask for” time with his father between April 27 and 30 “under these circumstances.”
Reps for Charles and Harry did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The royals similarly kept their distance when Harry traveled across the pond in January for his privacy trial against the UK press.
At the time, Page Six heard the former military pilot had a “very tight stay,” making additional obligations “extremely difficult.”
Another insider told us Charles, 77, would be in Scotland during Harry’s trip, while People reported His Majesty avoids active legal cases.
The father-son duo last saw each other in September 2025 when Harry had a “private tea” with Charles.
The sitdown marked their first face-to-face encounter since a February 2024 meetup.
As for Harry’s strained relationship with brother Prince William, the siblings have not connected in years.
The pair were last in the same room in 2024 and 2022 for Lord Robert Fellowes and Queen Elizabeth II’s respective funerals.
The Prince of Wales, 43, and wife Kate Middleton have been at odds with Harry since the former resigned from his royal duties and moved to the United States in 2020.
Harry went on to publicly slam his family in an Oprah Winfrey interview, a Netflix docuseries and a bombshell memoir.
Jason Knauf, the longtime communications secretary for William, Harry and their wives, explained on “60 Minutes Australia” last year how “hard and sad” the ongoing rift has been for the royals’ loved ones.
