She also tried punching herself in the stomach and attempted to get morphine, according to The Independent.
“I’m not made to be a mother,” Bardot added in her memoir. “I’m not adult enough — I know it’s horrible to have to admit that, but I’m not adult enough to take care of a child.”
In 1997, Nicolas and his father sued Bardot over her book’s controversial remarks about them. She was ordered to pay about $40,000 in fines as a result, according to People.
