Micah Plath has entered a new chapter.
In the season 8 premiere of Welcome to Plathville that aired on Tuesday, March 31, Micah, 24 offered an update on his life after viewers saw his tumultuous relationship with ex-girlfriend Veronica Peters come to an end in the season 7 finale.
“I'm coming up here to see all my family — I haven't seen 'em in a while,” he explained as he arrived in Georgia. “I'm also coming to take a whole bunch of my stuff back down to Florida, because I finally have my own place.”

When he and Veronica started dating, Micah moved from Los Angeles, where he was pursuing a modeling career, to Florida, where she worked as a real estate agent. When they split, viewers watched him get escorted by police officers to move out of the home he and Veronica shared.
“After I broke up with Veronica, I knew I needed to make a change,” Micah noted, going on to reveal that he is in a new relationship. “I met a pretty incredible girl and we are doing great and we are happy.”
“We’re keeping things somewhat private,” he added. “Kind of evaluating everything that's happened over the last couple years. I don't think I was on the path for what I wanted, and I'm going to switch things up a little bit and just chase a peaceful life.”
At the beginning of the episode, the Plaths reflected on the explosive fight that broke out at Lydia and Zac’s wedding last year, where Isaac hit Micah in the face while arguing over comments Veronica allegedly made toward his girlfriend.
“I was concerned about the wedding itself, and then Veronica just kind of pushed me over the edge,” Isaac said. “Nobody really knows the full extent of how crazy it was.”

Tensions were already high that day, as the family expressed their disapproval of Zac and Lydia’s decision to get married six months after meeting each other, and Veronica's revelations that Micah had cheated on her several times came to light.
Things only escalated when Veronica realized she was seated next to Ethan and his then-girlfriend Teegan Nichols — who Veronica previously alleged had nude photos on an OnlyFans account despite Teegan’s denials.
Veronica ultimately left the wedding early and only learned about the altercation between Micah and Isaac the next day. When everyone sat down to discuss what had happened, Micah decided to break up with Veronica.
“Either I strictly choose her over my family and continue down a very difficult road, or I just cut ties,” Micah said in the season 7 finale. “Veronica is not going to change. This is going nowhere.” He then declared: “We are done.”
