Isaac Plath and Kaylynn Brinkley are back together.
The Welcome to Plathville star, 20, confirmed on Sunday, Aug. 30 that he and Brinkley — whose breakup played out during the show’s eighth season in April —have apparently rekindled their romance. Plath shared a collaborative post with Brinkley on Instagram over the weekend, soundtracked by Randy Travis’ “Where That Came From.” The upload featured images of them dancing together in a field.
“Always been you ❤️,” he captioned the post.

The post comes four months after the April 14 episode of Welcome to Plathville, during which Plath asked Brinkley to take off her mic amid a Halloween-themed event. He then shared that he wanted to end the relationship. At the time, Brinkley said she was “kind of shocked in a way,” insisting that “nobody saw it coming.”
Isaac introduced Brinkley to fans in the show’s seventh season in July 2025 after the pair had already known each other for years.
Plath opened up about their split to his friend, Ralph, during the April episode. “I felt like it was moving too fast, and I was too young,” he said. “Certain thoughts built up to where I felt like I was under too much pressure and I wanted to just be free. I know she is a little bit older than me, so she may want to settle down a little sooner than I would have in mind. Just everything my family’s been through, it scared me.”
After the split, Plath said he reached back out to Brinkley and was hopeful for a chance to reconcile. “I have no desire to do anything other than to rebuild it with her,” he said. “That’s all I want. That’s all I can see myself doing. She’s going to have to decide what she wants to do. A few days of being by myself is too much already, and it’s killing me inside. But I just miss her, man.”

At the time of the episode’s taping, Brinkley said she didn’t know where they stood and that she “really believed so much that he was the one.”
“But trust isn’t just given. It’s something that you have to earn with your actions,” she said. “We’ll just see what he does. And just give it to God, because that’s the only other thing I can do.”
Several fans reacted to their new images over the weekend, with one Instagram follower writing that they “love them together” and another saying they were “so happy they are still together.”
