Halle Bailey’s biggest fan might be her 14-month-old son Halo!
On Wednesday, March 5, the actress, 24, shared an adorable video of the little one watching her star in the 2023 live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid.
In the clip, shared on her Instagram Stories and X, Halo sits on a bed playing with a toy stethoscope as his mom’s film plays in the background.
As the music in the movie intensifies, Halo turns to the direction of the television and says, “Momma,” causing his mom to laugh.

With his attention now on the film, Bailey pans to the television to show her fans what he is watching before asking Halo, “That’s momma?!”
Halo, however, continues watching the movie intensely before letting out a big smile as the current scene progresses.
“Momma!” Halo says again, causing Bailey to respond, “Yeah, that’s momma. That’s momma.”
The moment made the mom of one emotional as she wrote in the caption, “guys i’m crying he actually knows ariel is me.”

Bailey played Ariel in the Disney remake based on the 1989 animated film of the same name. She was announced as the film’s lead in July 2019.
The film would go on to make $95.5 million across 4,320 screens in North America during its opening weekend, per the Associated Press, which cited studio estimates after the film’s May 2023 release. It finished its run with $569.6 million worldwide.
Halo was born just a few months later. Bailey, who shares the toddler with ex DDG, announced his arrival in January 2024.
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️,” she wrote next to a photo of his hand on Instagram.

Last month, Bailey shared another sweet video of Halo bouncing and holding his hands up while watching the “Valentine Visualizer” for her song “Back and Forth.”
According to his aunt, Chloe Bailey, he is already starting to take after his famous mother.
“He’s singing, he’s dancing a lot to ‘Gracie’s Corner,’ “she said in a recent conversation with PEOPLE, referencing the hit YouTube kids program. “He’s making beats in his kids’ beats machine.”

“On my MPC [Music Production Center] at my house, he was banging on it. Then Halle and I, we had a shoot, I had another MPC machine, and he was making beats,” the proud aunt continued. “That’s going to be my little mini-producer, my little mini-me.”
