Vanessa Hudgens is getting candid about her postpartum reality.
The multi-hypenate, 37, gave a look at her journey after giving birth to baby number two in November 2025, with some snaps on her Instagram Stories.
On Monday, March 30, Hudgens shared a photo of her left hand holding multiple strands of hair, writing over the image, "And so it begins."

She followed it up by sharing a selfie, writing, "Having a great hair day even with my hair loss lol."
Postpartum hair loss is common, caused by hormonal changes that occur during and after pregnancy, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Occurring about three months after childbirth, excessive hair shedding can last up to six months but is temporary.
Hudgens announced the arrival of her second baby in an Instagram post in November 2025, writing, "Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do ❤️."

The arrival of baby number two came after she and her husband, Cole Tucker, 29, welcomed their first baby in July 2024.
The High School Musical alum has shared some glimpses into her life as a mom of two on Instagram, including a selfie days after her birth announcement, in which she was wearing pajamas.
"Home in pjs all day is the vibe," she wrote across the photo.

In late December, Hudgens shared a throwback thirst trap of herself in a hot pink bikini, writing, "Well, I haven’t gone to any holiday parties or even leave [sic] the home this holiday season. Newborn life lol so here’s a photo of me in simpler times where I danced on tables. What a year it’s been. From this to mom of 2…. What a journey ❤️."

While Hudgens and her husband have yet to share many details about their children, Tucker revealed on the Jan. 14 episode of the Baseball Isn't Boring podcast that their eldest child is a boy and their youngest is a girl.
