Universal Orlando Resort is offering park goers an official look inside its newest theme park!
After first announcing it would be adding a fourth park in August 2019, the resort is gearing up for the long-awaited opening of Epic Universe on Thursday, May 22. Ahead of the launch, new first look images of the otherworldly realms visitors will get to experience have been released.
Guests will be able to fully immerse themselves in five fascinating worlds, including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.

They will begin their journey at the Chronos portal which will guide them directly into Celestial Park, the central land that will hold shopping, dining and even a thrill ride of its own.
A first look image of the Harry Potter-themed world, Ministry of Magic, shows a glimpse of the 1920’s Place Cachée, which is “a hidden, bustling shopping district in wizarding Paris” where muggles will be transported, according to a press release from Universal.

At SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, guests will get to experience a vibrant world inspired by the video game company in Universal’s “most colorful and interactive experience yet,” per the release.

In the next world, inspired by the beloved How to Train Your Dragon films, park goers can marvel at the massive lagoon and double 40-foot-tall Viking statues before embarking on a number of themed attractions.

Once they arrive at the last “ominous” world, Dark Universe, “guests will explore the shadowy village of Darkmoor – home to Universal Monster legends like Dracula, The Wolf Man, Frankenstein’s Monster and more,” the release states.

Universal Orlando Resort first teased Epic Universe in August 2019 with a post on X that read, “This is kind of a big deal,” alongside a promo photo. A week later, it revealed the official name of the park and concept art in a press conference.

Epic Universe will offer over 50 attractions, entertainment and dining options, and shopping experiences to choose from. It is the fourth theme park to join the resort’s Universal Studios (the original park), Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay Water Park.
