Three red river hog piglets were born at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge at Walt Disney World in Florida, and these little animals are already on their hooves.
On Friday, April 3, the vice president of animals, science & environment for Disney, Dr. Mark Penning, announced the Orlando park's latest additions on Instagram.
A photo carousel shared with the post features a piglet staring at the camera, and two photos of the piglets spending time with their mother.
"Adorable alert! 🚨 Meet the newest red river hog piglets that were recently born backstage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge 😍," the caption reads.

A second added, "They are absolutely adorable! Congratulations to all! I love seeing how sweet mama is with her piglets! I can already imagine hearing the sweet lullaby she sings to her piglets! 👏👏👏.”

Red river hogs are native to West and Central Africa and are widespread throughout the region, according to the Smithsonian National Zoo. The animals are the most "colorful" members of the pig family with their reddish-orange and black coats.
The new piglets will soon move into their public-facing habitat at Animal Kingdom Lodge, joining the park's other red river hogs in a place where guests can see them.
Before the trio's arrival, Disney World celebrated a red river hog birth in 2023.
