Tom Brady played coy about his thoughts on possibly competing in the 2028 Olympics.
With Brady, 48, taking up his QB role again for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on March 21, and with flag football becoming an official Olympic sport in 2028 when the Games come to Los Angeles, the retired NFL star was asked if he wants to "go for the gold" during an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday, March 17.
Brady said he "would never say never" but admitted, "it is probably unlikely, just so you know."

The father of three continued, "I think for these young guys" — referring to the current NFL players who have spoken about wanting to suit up for Team USA — "it’s good for them to do it," Brady said. "If I ever wanted to come in as an advisory role, as a coach, something like that, that’s probably better suited for me."
Brady added, "I’ll let the young Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen get out there and try to win a gold medal for the U.S."
When host Robin Roberts noted that Brady started his reply by saying "never say never," the former quarterback said the upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic "has got me a little excited" — but he explained why he's feeling good about staying retired from football.
"I love my Fox job, I love doing my broadcasting — a big commitment to that. I love the NFL, I love the Raiders, I love working on that and different projects I have. So I have a lot going on," Brady said.

In January, Brady told PEOPLE he doesn't "have much time for a personal life these days" after he was spotted cozying up to influencer Alix Earle on New Year's Eve. Brady and Earle, 25, were spotted spending time together again at a Super Bowl party in February.
A month later, Brady and Scooter Braun's ex-wife Yael Cohen "were together all night talking" at a birthday party in Los Angeles for former Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, held at the home of Gonzalez' ex Lauren Sanchez and her husband Jeff Bezos, a source told PEOPLE.
Brady and Cohen, 39, "then left together" after spending the whole evening chatting, the insider added.
