Timothée Chalamet Shares Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse of His Golden Globes Triumph: ‘So Tremendously Grateful’ 

Timothée Chalamet is sharing an intimate look at his big night at the Golden Globes!

The Marty Supreme star, 30, won the Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy trophy on the evening for his portrayal of table tennis star Marty Mauser, triumphing over George Clooney (Jay Kelly), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Lee Byung-hun (No Other Choice) and Jesse Plemons (Bugonia). And in an Instagram carousel shared on Monday, Jan 12, he offered fans an inside look at his celebrations.

The first slide of his social media carousel shows Chalamet kissing his golden trophy, while a further two show him grinning as he holds the accolade aloft. Another frame depicts him alongside Marty Supreme director Josh Safdie. The post also includes a photo taken from the vantage point of his table at the awards ceremony, where he delivered his acceptance speech.

“THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!! SO TREMENDOUSLY GRATEFUL!!!!!!,” the actor captioned the post.

Earlier in the evening of Jan 11, the star had been sure to name-check both his parents and his “partner,” 28-year-old Kylie Jenner, during his acceptance speech.

When his name was announced, Chalamet turned to kiss Jenner at their table at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles before shouting out those who have supported him in his career, including his costars, parents and the entrepreneur.

“My dad instilled in me a spirit of gratitude growing up,” Chalamet said. “Always be grateful for what you have. It’s allowed me to leave this ceremony in the past empty-handed, my head held high, grateful just to be here. I’d be lying if I didn’t say those moments didn’t make this moment that much sweeter. For my parents, for my partner, I love you. Thank you so much.”

A clip shared by Access Hollywood captured Jenner mouthing, “I’m so happy,” about her beau’s success.

Later on that night, the Kylie Cosmetics founder was by Chalamet’s side as his name was engraved on the trophy, per a video shared by Vanity Fair.

The pair exchanged smiles and kisses as the accolade was engraved, while Chalamet also congratulated fellow winner Paul Thomas Anderson, who took home the Best Screenplay award for One Battle After Another.

Jenner also enjoyed the perks of her man’s success when she shared a snap of herself holding his Golden Globe in an Instagram carousel she shared the day after the event.
