Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh Tebow are celebrating six years of marriage.
The NFL star, 38, and the former Miss Universe, 30, tied the knot in an intimate sunset ceremony at La Paris Estate in Cape Town, South Africa, on Jan. 20, 2020, and welcomed their first child together, daughter Daphne Reign, in July 2025. Marking their sixth anniversary milestone on Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 20, the couple penned heartfelt tributes to each other alongside video compilations of moments throughout their relationship over the years.
“Watching these memories back reminds me how faithful God has been in every season,” Tim captioned his reel, which showcased numerous clips of them together spanning from the early stages of their romance to the birth of their baby girl.
He continued, “Demi-Leigh, thank you for walking beside me through every new chapter, every calling, every high and low. You are one of the greatest gifts Jesus has given me, and I’m so grateful you chose me back. And getting to welcome Daphne with you this past year has been one of the sweetest blessings of my life. Here’s to six years behind us and a lifetime ahead. Happy anniversary ❤️.”
Demi-Leigh commented, “Happy anniversary my love! I choose you everyday, all day, forever! Parenting with you is by far my favorite chapter yet! I love you ❤️.”
In her own post, Demi-Leigh shared her favorite photos with Tim. The video began with 21 shots of the couple that transformed from black and white to color. Then, even more photos of the pair began playing, including moments from their wedding day and romantic getaways. She posted the reel to Alex Warren’s “Ordinary.”
“Happy anniversary my sweetheart! 🤍,” Demi-Leigh wrote. “I’ve loved you for 8 years, dreamt of forever with you for 7 years, and lived life with you for 6 years. We’re a stronger team now than ever before. Parenting with you is my favorite version of us yet! I love you! 🥹🫶🏼.”
Tim met Demi-Leigh in early 2018 through his annual charity event, Night to Shine. Months later in January 2019, Tim popped the question with a 7.25-carat solitaire ring at his family’s farm outside of Jacksonville, Fla. The following year, the pair said “I do.”
Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE in 2020, Tim described his connection with Demi-Leigh as “instant.”
“I knew that she was a very special person,” he said. “And after the initial attraction, we realized that we both share the same faith, which was so important to me.”

He continued, “I’ve been waiting my entire life for someone special, who I can spend the rest of my life with. I was waiting for the right person to come along … all of my dreams have come true. It was 100 percent worth the wait.”

In the same interview, Demi-Leigh was quick to praise her husband as well, calling him her “biggest support system.” She added at the time, “In the two years we’ve known each other, we’ve found such a deep love.”
