I’m talking unassuming gadgets like a canned-air duster that never needs a refill, a light switch that turns on automatically when entering a room, or a nifty parking guide that gets us in the right spot without the need for an ugly tennis ball hanging from the garage ceiling. Amazon has tons of these clever tools, and one of the best I’ve found recently is a slim wallet that holds an Apple AirTag, making it nearly impossible to lose.

If you or someone you know is always misplacing their wallet, this will make every search as easy as opening the Find My app. It’s slim enough to fit into your front pocket — the only place I like to carry a wallet anymore — but has slots for 11 cards plus a cash clip. One shopper said they switched to it from the ultra-pricey Ridge wallet and “won’t be going back.”

Just loop one around the button, and the waistline goes up a size (or two with the longer ones). Plus, there are different band colors and buttons to match various styles.

TubShroom Drain Hair Catcher

If I had to choose a single “life hack” product to recommend, this would be it. My wife’s hair used to clog our drains constantly — and somehow it was always my job to use the drain snake and tackle that stomach-churning chore.
I took a chance on the TubShroom and will never look back. It catches all the hair while letting the water filter through, meaning I just have to pull it out every couple of months when the sink is slow to drain, toss the hair, and put the TubShroom back in. The job is still gross, but it’s far less frequent and labor-intensive.
Park Ranger Parking Aid

This is the definition of a gadget that’s so simple it’s utterly brilliant. Instead of having to hang a tennis ball from the garage ceiling (my grandpa’s hack), or install a laser parking assistant, this flexible plastic guide sticks to the wall, indicating you’ve pulled in enough when the three red hashes are aligned.
