The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes is going to be a dad!
The former boyband member, 33, is expecting his first baby with wife Charlotte, sharing the exciting news with an adorable announcement video on Instagram. In the clip, the married couple posed in a photo booth with the sonogram of their baby-to-be, who’s expected to arrive in April 2027.
“We’ve been keeping a little secret…,” the caption read. “Baby Sykes is officially on the way 🤍.”

Last October, the soon-to-be parents tied the knot during a dreamy wedding in Yorkshire, England. The couple announced the happy news on Instagram via a joint post with the Mirror and OK! Magazine.
The Oct. 20 post featured a photo of the bride and groom in their formal wedding attire. They could be seen standing outside their stately venue, holding hands. Sykes wore a black suit with a classic double-breasted jacket and black bowtie for the occasion, while Burke chose a white gown with puffed long sleeves and a voluminous skirt. She held a simple bouquet of crimson roses.
According to the Daily Mail, the nuptials took place at the Birdsall House country estate.
Just hours after announcing their wedding news, the couple stepped out together to the 2025 Pride of Britain Awards, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. As they smiled and posed for photos on the red carpet, Burke offered a glimpse of her wedding ring on her left hand.
They got engaged nearly three years ago in December 2022. They announced the news on Instagram at the time, sharing photos from the sunset beach proposal in St. Lucia.

One photo showed them embracing as they celebrated the moment. Another captured the pair posing for a selfie as Burke held up her hand to show off her engagement ring.
Sykes wrote in the caption: “A few nights ago I took @_charlotteburke_ to the same beach in Saint Lucia that her parents got married on many years ago to ask her a certain question and … She Said Yes!!!”
The Wanted members Jay McGuiness, Max George and Siva Kaneswaran all congratulated their longtime friend and bandmate on his engagement in the comments.
“Wonderful news! Congratulations to you both ❤️❤️,” Kaneswaran wrote, while McGuinness chimed in, “You’re both so cute!”
