Get ready to go mad for The Madison.
The latest series from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn, and Kurt Russell as her husband Preston Clyburn. The Madison follows Stacy and her family, who after a tragedy, move from Manhattan in New York City to the Madison River valley in Montana.
It's unclear what the tragic event is, but in the series trailer, released in February 2026, Pfieffer's character is seen grieving, and Russell doesn't appear in the same Montana-set scenes as the actress.
"Memories, it's like a movie we can play over and over to revisit all those times we did have together — all the talks, all the laughs, all the hugs," she says in a voiceover.
In addition to Pfieffer and Russell, the cast of the emotional drama also includes Patrick J. Adams, Will Arnett, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett and Elle Chapman, among others.

The Madison premieres on March 14.
At the show's New York City premiere on March 9, Sheridan made a rare speech, in which he introduced the series by saying, "I can't stand these things. So, for me to be at one means I'm really proud of the project, which I am."
He continued by thanking his wife, Nicole Muirbrook, and the cast and crew responsible for bringing The Madison to life.
During the preview event, Sheridan spoke about how he "had a love-hate relationship" with the Big Apple — where he moved to in his 20s — and is now a setting in The Madison.
"Sometimes you have to leave a place to really know it and love it," he said, adding that the series is "a story of a family that has to leave it to learn to love it again."

The first season of The Madison has six episodes.
While the show is just debuting, Russell has already filmed scenes for season 2. The actor wasn't initially able to be part of The Madison, due to his filming schedule for Apple TV's Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. But Sheridan's series was able to accommodate him by rearranging the shooting schedule.
“I was very happy about that, because I really like what The Madison is. It’s a smart show,” he told Entertainment Weekly in January 2026. “He's a really good writer — Taylor's excellent, and Michelle's great, and she's really great in this show. Talking about awards — I think they're going to be looking Michelle's way.”
"I think that it's a very different show for Taylor in that it's a very female-gaze-oriented show," Russell continued. "And I think it's extremely well written, it was fun to play. It was really fun to do. I just had a good time."
