Taylor Frankie Paul is revealing how a resurfaced incident with her ex is impacting her daughter.
The reality star, 31, said her young daughter is again confronting the aftermath of a 2023 domestic violence incident, following the recent circulation of video footage that captured the altercation.
In a comment posted under a TikTok video on Friday, March 20, Paul wrote that the renewed attention has been particularly difficult for her child.
“Worst part is my daughter having to relive and see it all over again years later after extensive work with her and apologies to her about that night and my baby boy birthday was taken from him,” Paul wrote.

The comment appeared beneath a video from a TikTok user addressing the incident involving Paul and her former partner, Dakota Mortensen.

It has not been confirmed who released the video of Paul and Mortensen.
The resurfaced footage, first reported by TMZ, shows a 2023 incident in which Paul threw metal chairs at Mortensen. At one point in the video, Mortensen can be heard saying, “Your daughter just got hit in the head by a metal chair.”
The incident, in which her daughter was struck, is also described in a 2023 indictment obtained by PEOPLE.
The renewed attention surrounding the incident comes days after Paul’s planned appearance on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette was canceled following the release of the footage.

Paul, known for her role on Mormon Wives and as a founder of MomTok, was arrested in 2023 in connection with the incident. She later entered a plea in abeyance to a charge of aggravated assault, meaning the charge will be dismissed if she complies with the terms of the agreement. Other charges related to the case have already been dismissed.
Paul shares a 2-year-old son, Ever, with Mortensen.
