Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is pregnant!
The track star, 26, is expecting her first baby with husband Andre Levrone Jr., announcing the exciting news on Instagram. The carousel, which included eight photos from their dreamy maternity shoot, showed the expectant parents on the beach holding onto a sonogram strip.
“Made a human with my favorite human 🥹,” she wrote in the caption. “Oh, how we have prayed for you… and the Lord has answered!! You are our greatest blessing and are already so loved. We are eagerly waiting to meet you! 🫶🏽🤍 Cool parents loading…”
The Olympic track and field athlete and the former NFL star tied the knot in Madison, Virginia, nine months after getting engaged in August 2021. At the time, the couple confirmed the news and shared exclusive photos with PEOPLE.
“We’ve been waiting for this day for a very long time so just excited that it’s finally here and we can say we’re married,” she said.
The couple’s ceremony and reception were held at Madison, Virginia’s romantic and rustic Early Mountain Vineyards, as planned and designed by Amore Events Co.
After tying the knot, the couple was looking forward to growing together in marriage — and not being long-distance anymore. “Ultimately, just getting to wake up next to your best friend and tackle whatever challenges the day has is so exciting,” said McLaughlin at the time.

“I have a vision in life, she has a vision in life, and we just kind of merged our visions,” Levrone Jr. said. “And being able to just model that the two of us are partners and what I like to call ‘co-laborers’ in life. And in this season of life, me primarily supporting her and her dream and her calling, is fun for me. And just knowing how supportive she is of me as well and in the long term.”
Since their wedding, the couple have shown up and supported each other every chance they could. When McLaughlin-Levrone had the crowd going wild during her remarkable races at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where she took home gold in two events, her husband went viral on social media for his passionate reaction.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE after Worlds, McLaughlin-Levrone opened up about the support of Andre while reflecting on the 47.78 seconds she ran to earn her first global title in the 400-meters and secure the second-fastest time in history.
“He’s such a huge support. There’s so much behind the scenes that he’s involved in and takes care of, especially on race days,” she told PEOPLE exclusively of her husband.
