James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ is hitting theaters in July 2025. Meet the cast, here!
James Gunn is reintroducing the world to an iconic superhero: Superman, a.k.a. Clark Kent. The upcoming film, simply titled Superman, was originally known as Superman: Legacy and is now slated for release on July 11, 2025.
The highly anticipated reboot features a stellar cast. David Corenswet takes on the role of the Man of Steel, while Rachel Brosnahan stars as the fearless journalist Lois Lane. Nicholas Hoult will portray Superman’s legendary nemesis, Lex Luthor.
Joining them are Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. The film will also introduce Krypto, Superman’s super-powered dog, inspired by director James Gunn’s own rescue pup, Ozu.
