Rapper and “Supacell” actor Ghetts has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for a hit-and-run collision that killed a student in England last year.
According to Deadline, Ghetts pleaded guilty to causing Yabin Tamang‘s death, and to one count of dangerous driving prior to the tragic car crash.
After Ghetts finishes his stint, he still won’t be able to drive for some time … his driving privileges have been revoked for 17 years.
Ghetts — real name Justin Clarke-Samuel — reportedly consumed alcohol before getting behind the wheel on October 18 last year and colliding with Tamang, a 20-year-old Nepalese student, at 60 mph on a residential road in Ilford, in East London.
After the catastrophic collision, Ghetts reportedly continued home and was arrested the next day. Tamang died 2 days after the incident.
