Sofia Richie’s $1,290 Ballet Shoes Are a Stylish Mom Hack for Keeping Daughter Eloise Entertained on the Go

Multi-task in mommy mode, but make it chic.

Sofia Richie Grainge’s 6-month-old baby girl Eloise has an eye for style just like her mother.

In an Instagram Stories photo shared on Thursday, Dec. 26, by the model, 26, Eloise, whom she shares with her husband Elliot Grainge, could be seen reaching for one of her mom’s designer flats.

“Wear shoes that keep your child entertained,” she wrote over the photo, adding a green check emoji. 

The picture was a close-up of Richie Grainge’s foot propped up as Eloise’s little hand reached for it as the family sat outside, waves from a beach crashing against the shore in the distance. 

The model wore white strass lambskin ballet flats with brass and acrylic embellishments by Alaïa, inspired by classical Japanese shoes. According to the luxury brand’s website, the Italian-made, rubber-soled shoes — also available in black — retail for $1,290.

Eloise has learned a lot about style since her arrival in May. 

Earlier this month, Richie Grainge shared an Instagram carousel recapping recent precious moments.

“Just some fun 🫶🏼🥹🫠,” she captioned the photos — one of which showed the infant holding her very own black, quilted Chanel purse with gold detailing. She held on tightly to the bag as her mother held onto her. 

But Eloise doesn’t just go for designer clothing, she also has luxury gadgets.

During a Nov. 14 episode of the Therapuss podcast, Richie Grainge told host Jake Shane that her daughter had a “little baby phone” of her own.

“Eloise has a little baby phone, that we get to text, or I like to text,” Shane said, adding, “I say, ‘Good morning, Eloise!’ ”

The podcast host joked that he and the 6-month-old have their very own conversations.

“I said, ‘Eloise do you mind if me and your mommy talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?’ And she said, ‘No, keep my name out of your mouth.’ And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you,’” Shane said.

Richie Grainge playfully assured Shane that she and Eloise “had a talking,” though he teased back that “Eloise has a little bit of an attitude.”

Last month, the girls celebrated Grainge’s 31st birthday with a sweet tribute to the first-time father.

“Greatest dad 🥹,” the model wrote on one of several Nov. 6 Instagram Stories posts. The image showed the CEO of Atlantic Records reading the children’s book How to Spot a Unicorn as Eloise was nestled between his arms.

Grainge and Richie Grainge married in April 2023.
