On Friday, March 27, Sheryl Lee Ralph shared an Instagram Reel from her trip to Jamaica, which showed her looking fabulous in a lime green bikini that shows off her abs and toned legs. The Abbott Elementary star, 69, paired her beach-ready suit with a green and orange silk coverup with a floral pattern and a long braid that brushed her hips.
She set her video to the tune of a fun audio clip. "I am in Jamaica. Where are you? United States? U.K.? Canada? What y'all ate for lunch? McDonald's?" the popular social media clip says.

Ralph's stunning look had her famous friends talking in the comments. "Soror Auntie Sheryl you ain’t have to do us like that?!? My God! Drop the workout routine next!!" Danielle Brooks wrote.
Ilana Glazer chimed in, "Holy moly beauty 😍," while Cynthia Bailey added, "You look amazing!!!😍." Even the official Abbott Elementary account got in on the fun, commenting, "Sea Barbara has arrived 🔥."
For Ralph, Jamaica is home. The actress' mother is from the island, and the Emmy winner has spoken passionately about her love for Jamaica in the past. She captioned her post, "I am home in JAMAICA 🇯🇲 😎," and tagged Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, as well as Sandals Resorts.

Also on Friday, Ralph appeared on the third hour of Today, where hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones were filming on location from the island. The actress appeared on the show to talk all things Abbott Elementary and to share her Jamaica pride.
Bush Hager, 44, revealed that Ralph once said they should go to Jamaica together, and the Moesha alum chimed in, "And here we are!"

When asked why she loves the country so much, Ralph shared, "Oh my God, I love the people. I love their resilience. I mean look at the fact that we have come through one of the most drastic natural disasters ever in the last hurricane, and the way the whole country has come together to help each other. The way other small islands came to the aid of Jamaica. I love our resilience, I love our food — oh the food is the best."
In 2022, Ralph was awarded the Order of Jamaica, one of the nation's highest honors. "Well, it is now official! I am The Honourable Sheryl Lee Ralph OJ (Order of Jamaica) Warrior Woman! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 #ThisisWhatBelievingLooksLike," she captioned an Instagram post celebrating the moment at the time.
