Jesiree Dizon is speaking out about her breakup from Shemar Moore.
On Friday, Jan. 31, Dizon, 41, addressed their split with a lengthy but sentimental statement on Instagram.
Alongside a photo of the two posing with their daughter Frankie, 2, the actress thanked her followers for the “overwhelming” amount of love and support they’ve shown her through this “difficult time.”
“Although our reality has changed, what will ALWAYS remain is the love and respect Shemar and i both have for each other,” she wrote. “‘Til God calls our name’ 😊😉.”
Dizon noted that the former couple’s new commitment is to not only “keep our love for each other alive and strong through the best friendship,” but also becoming the “BEST co-parents in continuing to raise our daughter, Frankie, and Kaiden and Charli.”
“As Shemar said, breakups aren’t easy,” she continued, referring to the statement Moore shared just hours before her own. “ESPECIALLY publicly so we ask that you please continue to give us love and grace as we navigate our new reality and respect our privacy to allow us to heal.”
The model then addressed the S.W.A.T. star personally and told him she would “always love” him despite the change in their relationship status.
“Shemar,” she said. “Even though our romantic journey has ended, we are still stuck together FOR LIFE so let’s kill this parenting thing…. TOGETHER ❤️❤️ you are the most amazing daddy to Frankie….”
“Still and will always be your best role yet. I will always love you,” she concluded. “With all of me, Jesiree ❤️.”
