Sharna Burgess is sharing how she parents her stepkids differently than she does her son.
On Friday, Dec. 5, the professional dancer, 40, answered a few questions on her Instagram and responded to a fan who asked if she parents her stepkids any differently than her 3-year-old son Zane.
Burgess, who shares Zane with husband Brian Austin Green, is stepmom to his four sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 9, with his ex-wife Megan Fox, as well as Kassius Lijah, 23, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.
“I don’t, I’m the same parent to them as I am to Zane,” Burgess answered. “Same rules (age depending), same love, same affection. Same desire to give them a life full of opportunity and love and set them up for success.”

“I’ve always made it a point since Zane came along to be mindful of this. I would never want them to feel put aside or treated differently,” she added.
Back in September, Green and Fox’s three sons made a rare social media appearance in an Instagram post by Burgess, who marked their half-brother Zane’s first day of pre-K on Sept. 2.
The Reel began with Zane holding up a sign celebrating his first day of school while his older siblings encouraged him. As he broke into laughter, Burgess switched to a slideshow, which included a picture of Zane standing between Noah, Bodhi and Journey. The video ended with Burgess driving away, on the verge of tears after dropping Zane off at school.
In her caption, Burgess also gave props to Noah, Bodhi and Journey for their support as Zane headed off to pre-K.
“His siblings hyped him up this morning as you can hear, and we all went to support his first morning drop off,” she wrote. “My blended tribe is my everything. We are so lucky.”
Then in April, Burgess shared photos of her blended family on her Instagram, including shots of her son Zane posing with three of his older siblings.
In one photo, the family was in a gelato shop, holding ice cream cones and posing together. Green held Zane, while three of his older siblings posed in front. Burgess sported red hair and pretended to lick his ice cream cone.
“As of late 🫶🏼 still not over slide 8 🥹,” Burgess wrote in her caption.
