Seth Rogen isn’t forgetting the period he went without smoking marijuana!
The Superbad actor, 42, spoke candidly about his smoking habits while on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, March 26. When host, Stern, 71, quizzed him on claims that he gets “high every single f—— day” without fail, Rogen confessed the strict laws in one country once forced him to take a break from cannabis.
“I think in 2012, 2011, I was in Singapore for three days so those days I didn’t smoke weed because they will literally f—— kill you if you smoke in that country,” Rogen said while laughing. “They put a little thing in your passport when you arrive that says ‘If we find drugs on you we will execute you.’ ”
He admitted there have been multiple instances where he has flown somewhere while unaware that he has a “roach” in his pocket.
Considering that it could’ve happened while visiting the Asian country, Rogen joked, “That was a scary walk through the airport in Singapore.”
Recreational and medical use of cannabis is illegal, with imprisonment, fines, and the death penalty (for trafficking, importing, or exporting) among the punishments, according to the Central Narcotics Bureau of Singapore.
Stern joked that the death penalty is a “good deterrent” after it successfully kept Rogen from smoking while he was there.

“If you ever have a drug problem, go to Singapore,” Rogen replied before revealing that he didn’t experience any withdrawal symptoms while abstaining.
“There’s plenty of other things to get,” he said. “Luckily, you can just drink yourself into oblivion. They don’t give a s— about that.”
When asked why people continue to buy weed illegally in legalized cities, Rogen told Stern buyers feel an allegiance to their dealer and don’t want them to be cash-strapped after losing their regular income.

The Pineapple Express star — who claims to drink his range of THC–infused drinks instead of water — said he continued to buy weed from a “sketchy” place in Los Angeles even when he began buying it legally in a store.
“Eventually, I was like, where do you get this weed? And the guy was like honestly we just get it at the store also,” Rogen recalled of his former drug dealer.
“I could tell as he was saying it that he was like ‘Oh no, I shouldn’t be saying this,’ ” he said. “I could literally see on his face, ‘I let the cat out of the bag with that one.’ ”
