Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti Marie are one happy family of three.

The actress and the singer married in a lavish multi-day wedding in late 2018, and just over three years later, they welcomed their daughter Malti via surrogate in January 2022. Throughout Malti's childhood, the two have given glimpses into parenthood on social media but have mostly kept her upbringing private, hiding her face with an emoji for the first few years of her life (and even in her on-screen debut in A Very Jonas Christmas).

When the family of three goes out, they also ensure their daughter's privacy with security. Speaking to Variety for her latest film The Bluff, she explained, "[Bodyguards] were there to make sure we're not being recorded without consent."

Chopra continued, "That's my biggest thing with everyone having cellphones. It happens often, especially with my daughter. We're in the park or having ice cream, and suddenly I'll see it online. My security is for that reason."
