Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams are celebrating four years of wedded bliss.
On Thursday, Aug. 20, the Modern Family alum, 35, and the podcaster, 42, shared a series of tributes to social media honoring the day they said “I do.”
“Four years married to my favorite wedding guest,” the actress began as the caption to an Instagram carousel, which started with a photo of them dancing together at night.

“You’re the person who makes me laugh harder, smile bigger, and find joy in the mundane,” she continued. “Life with you is my favorite kind of fun. You fill our home, our marriage, and my life with so much love, happiness, and tacos. You’re my best friend and I’d choose you in every lifetime. Happy 4 years ✨ I love you +1 anything you say.”
Other images showed them laughing together and sharing a kiss.
Hyland’s admiration for her husband wasn’t limited to her main feed. On her Instagram Stories, the Geek Charming star referred to Adams as her “favorite thing” in a repost.
She also shared a video of him playing a guitar beside their dog, writing, “My whole world” over the clip as several other endearing posts followed.
Like Hyland, Adams also went all out on their special day.
“Happy anniversary to my perfect wife,” he captioned his carousel.
“Here are the first pictures we ever took together,” The Bachelorette alum wrote. “You can tell how absolutely and completely in love I am with you in these. And guess what? Nothing’s changed. I love you more, plus one anything you say, to Pluto and back.”
As the couple lay beside each other in the images, they made a different funny face in each slide. In one of the pictures that were reposted to his Instagram Stories, Adams recalled being “so freaking stoked” to be with Hyland.
The pair first met on social media in 2017 after some flirty tweets led to Adams sending Hyland a DM and asking to take her out for tacos.

They seemingly confirmed their relationship later that year when Hyland shared a photo of the two on Instagram in November with the caption: “He puts up with me.”
By July 2019, Adams got down on one knee and asked Hyland to marry him.
“We like to joke when we first started dating, that we’re the same person, and I think [that] still rings true to this day,” Hyland told PeopleTV in a 2019 interview. “We’re just so similar that it definitely felt like meeting a kindred soul from a past life.”

The pandemic caused the couple to postpone their wedding, with them later tying the knot in an outdoor ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Sunstone Winery near Santa Barbara, Calif.
In addition to their friends and family, Hyland’s Modern Family costars Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara (who brought her son, Manolo Vergara), Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (who was joined by his husband, Justin Mikita) were also present for the couple’s big day.
