Rory McIlroy’s Masters Champion Dinner menu is worthy of a champion, or many!
The 2025 Masters Tournament winner chose luxurious items, from bacon-wrapped dates to Wagyu filet mignon, to feature on the menu for the Tuesday, April 7 dinner.
The Masters Club Dinner, informally known as the Champions Dinner, invites all past champions of the tournament to dine together. The winner of the previous year’s tournament chooses the menu.
McIlroy selected a wide-ranging menu featuring different cultures and flavors and took inspiration from his upbringing in Northern Ireland, Georgia cuisine and his favorite dishes, per a post from the PGA Tour official X account.

The champions will start off with a peach and ricotta flatbread featuring hot honey and a rock shrimp tempura served with a creamy spicy sauce.
McIlroy intended the flatbread to be a wink at the local ingredients of Georgia, where the tournament takes place, per the post.
Other starters include bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese, a call back to McIlroy’s mother, Rosie, who made them for him throughout his upbringing.
The final starter will be grilled elk sliders with caramelized onion jam and roasted garlic aioli. According to the article, McIlroy ate “a ton of elk” before last year’s tournament.
A second course spotlights yellowfin tuna carpaccio, complete with foie gras and chives and served with toasted baguette, a nod to McIlroy and his wife Erica’s favorite restaurant in New York City, Le Bernadin.
"Every time we go to that restaurant, that's the one thing that I have to have," McIlroy said in the tweet. "So that's a fun one that the club worked with me on as well. They went up to the restaurant and worked with the chefs, and made sure [it was right]."
Rory McIlroy explains why he made each selection for his 2026 Masters Champions Dinner menu:

For the entree, attendees can select either a Wagyu filet mignon or a seared salmon to accompany traditional Irish champ – an Irish mashed potato dish incorporating chopped green onions, butter and milk that McIlroy says he ate “by the bowlful” as a kid.
Other sides include sauteed brussel sprouts and glazed carrots with brown butter, along with onion rings made from vidalia, a type of sweet onion from Vidalia, Georgia.
The dinner will be capped off with a sticky toffee pudding, which will be served with vanilla ice cream and a warm toffee sauce.
The menu stemmed “from the heart and from personal experience, and I guess a little bit of nostalgia for me," McIlroy said.
The Northern Irish golfer chose the wines for the menu as well, including the 1990 Chateau Lafite Rothschild he drank when he won the Master’s.
McIlroy wanted to be “really intentional” selecting the wines – his “favorite part of the menu” – as he is passionate about and collects wine.
Last year’s Champions Dinner honoree was Scottie Scheffler, who took inspiration from his Texas upbringing in dishes like a Texas-Style Chili and wood-fired cowboy ribeye.
