Lisa Marie Presley’s family is remembering the “harmonious” times they shared with the late singer-songwriter.
On Sunday, Jan. 12 — exactly two years after Presley died in 2023 at age 54 just two days after attending the Golden Globes with her mother Priscilla Presley — her daughter Riley Keough and half-brother Navarone Garcia were among the people who paid tribute to the musician.
Keough, 35, honored her late mother by sharing a throwback image of the pair on FaceTime via her Instagram Stories. In the snap, Keough could be seen in the top-right corner smiling as her mom smiled along with her in the middle of a conversation. Keough captioned the image with, “❤️.”
Garcia, the 37-year-old son of Pricilla and producer Marco Garibaldi, also remembered his half-sister Lisa Marie with a post, writing that he “can’t believe it’s been 2 years” since her death.
“Sending love and thinking of you today,” the musician wrote. “🫶🫶 People seem to love to judge or have an opinion on our relationship but I do truly miss the good times we had. When things were harmonious things were great. [It’s] unfortunate that I even have to bring up the unharmonious times… but ya know somebody’s gonna say something negative (and probably still will anyway) about something I said one time.”
“But anyway[,] I love you and miss you sis,” he continued. “Much love. ❤️.”
Alongside his tribute, Garcia shared a snap of himself and Lisa Marie smiling together when he was a young boy.
Lisa Marie was the only child of legend Elvis Presley, who died in 1977.
Priscilla confirmed her daughter’s death on Jan. 12, 2023, in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.”
“She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known,” the statement continued. “We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”

Earlier that day, Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital for possible cardiac arrest. She had suffered from long-lasting fevers, nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting for months ahead of her death.
She died following complications from bariatric surgery she underwent several years ago, per an autopsy report obtained by PEOPLE. Lisa Marie was laid to rest at Graceland in Memphis alongside her son Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in 2020.
She is survived by Priscilla, Riley and twin daughters Harper and Finley, whom she shared with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
Riley told PEOPLE in September that she believed her mother “died from a broken heart” following Benjamin’s death.
“My mom tried her best to find strength for me and my younger sisters after Ben died, but we knew how much pain she was in,” she said at the time. “My mom physically died from the after effects of her surgery, but we all knew she died of a broken heart.”
Following Lisa Marie’s death, Riley also finished her mother’s posthumous memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, which was published in October.
“Few people had the opportunity to know who my mom really was, other than being Elvis’s daughter,” Riley said in a statement about the project ahead of its publication. “I was lucky to have had that opportunity and working on preparing her autobiography for publication has been a privilege, albeit a bittersweet one.”
