To me, a functional travel outfit has to check two boxes: comfort and flair. It can be hard to find pieces that strike that balance, but Reese Witherspoon just served a masterclass in how to look poised and feel comfy on the go.

We’ve also spotted Witherspoon in straight-leg jeans on repeat this summer, and she just proved that it’s a great cut for summer-to-fall weather, too. I recently asked a podiatrist about the best sneakers for travel, and he highlighted New Balance as one of his go-to brands.
