Former Playboy model Ariane Bellamar has died from a heart attack. She was 46.
Bellamar’s ex-husband and father to her two daughters, Tanner Slaught, confirmed Bellamar had died on Dec. 20, 2024 in a message shared on Facebook last month.
Slaught added a link to a GoFundMe page, which was set up to help pay for funeral expenses.
“Her extremely early departure from this world has caught everyone off guard and we were not prepared for this,” he wrote.
Confirming Bellamar died from a heart attack, Slaught added in the fundraiser description, “While this unbelievable news is shocking because she was only 46, I can assure you that I have verified this truth.”
“Unfortunately, Ariane, and the rest of us, were not prepared for this sudden turn of events,” he wrote.
Slaught said that any donations above what was required to cover the funeral costs would go to charities in Bellamar’s memory.

“If we can accomplish our goals above, then any remaining funds will be either donated to a charity in Ariane’s memory or to create a charity to help women, mothers and children, and young women in need,” he wrote.
Nevada’s Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner told TMZ that they had received a report of death for Bellamar, but weren’t able to provide further details.
The Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner didn’t immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE for additional information. PEOPLE also reached out to Bellamar’s ex-husband for a tribute but did not immediately hear back.
The GoFundMe page had raised just over $1,000 as of Wednesday, Feb. 19.

Bellamar — who was born in Florida and raised in a small town outside of Toronto, Canada, per her IMDb biography — was best known for being a former Playboy Playmate. On her Instagram page, she describes herself as an “Actress. Actavist [and] Mother.”
She also had uncredited roles in movies including 2016’s Suicide Squad and 2013’s The Hangover Part III, as well as starring in shows including Beverly Hills Nannies as herself in 2012 and an episode of The Millionaire Matchmaker in 2014.
In November 2017, Bellamar made headlines after she accused Jeremy Piven of groping her on the set of Entourage and at the Playboy Mansion, PEOPLE previously reported. The actor — who starred as Ari Gold on the hit HBO show, which ran for eight seasons from 2004-11 — denied the claims.
