Welcome to The Blueprint, where we break down the celebrity looks we want to wear right now and build them back up, piece by piece.
I’m adding Oprah to my list of 2026 fashion muses.
The media mogul previously shared some behind-the-scenes photos of her time truffle hunting in Italy. While I had no plans to travel or truffle hunt back then, I do now — and I'm definitely copying her look.
The media mogul's paperbag pants and unfussy polo shirt are ideal for traveling. The former is stretchy enough to accommodate long periods of sitting (and any annoying in-flight bloating), while the latter is smart for those of us who are in a constant cycle of being too hot one minute and cold the next. You can also easily mix and match each piece with other staples once you arrive to your destination — a major plus for those trying to avoid overpacking.

Paperbag pants are especially useful for long-haul flights. The stretchy waistband will be extra comfortable while sitting, and the tie-belt can be tightened or loosened depending on how much I eat, where I’m at in my cycle, and so forth.
The wide-leg silhouette also looks extra polished for work and won’t squeeze my legs (my fashion pet peeve). The khaki hue on this pair goes with all sorts of color families, so they match everything including polka-dots and fun prints.

Amazon Essentials Polo Shirt

$12
Polo shirts used to remind me of my old school uniforms, but now, all I think of when I see them is Jennifer Garner, Joanna Gaines, and more celebrities doing their best to bring the preppy trend back. I finally see the appeal, too: They’re not restrictive like starchy blouses, but they have a more formal feel than plain ol’ T-shirts. This one is especially “soft and cool,” according to one shopper, and it doesn’t shrink in the wash, which I love to hear.
Another bonus? Since the sleeves cover your shoulders, you can wear them in churches or other places with strict dress codes while abroad.
Sernial Tennis Shoes

There are very few occasions where white tennis shoes haven’t served me well, so I’ll never complain about buying more. These are under $30, which will make me feel less guilty when I inevitably dirty them up past the point of cleaning. Plus, they're made with faux leather, which I personally prefer over canvas. I also love that I can style these with so many different outfits, keeping my suitcase nice and light.
