Millie Bobby Brown would happily go back to her iconic “Eleven” hairstyle.
In a video interview with Variety released on Wednesday, Feb. 12, the British actress, 20, opened up about her hair journey while creating a sculpture of herself. When a voice off camera asked if she wanted to give the clay sculpture any hair, she said, “I usually don’t think about hair.”
“When I shaved it, I was like, ‘hair is literally like, not a part of my aura,'” Brown continued, referring to shaving her head for her breakout role of Eleven in Stranger Things, which premiered in 2016.
She explained that the haircut “was the most important thing in my whole life because it empowered me so much and made me feel so much better.”
“So yeah, I loved shaving my hair off,” Brown explained. “It was an amazing experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I just loved it. When it rained, it was like a massage. And having hair is really annoying. It’s a task. It’s like another thing to worry about.”

In November 2024, Netflix confirmed that the fifth season of Stranger Things, premiering in 2025, will be the series’ last. The streamer also shared a teaser, revealing that season 5 will pick up “in the Fall of 1987,” a time jump from season 4, which took place in the spring of 1986.
In a first look at the final season released in July of that year, Brown shared, “I started when I was 10, I’m now turning 20 years old. Feels very weird.”

Brown recently made another dramatic hair change. On Saturday, Feb. 1, the actress shared a carousel of photos on Instagram showing off her recently dyed platinum blonde locks.

She added a Y2K-style edit to the image, including the word “HOT” in pink lettering, as well as a “System error !” message to her left.
Prior to the transformation, Brown had been rocking long brunette hair for months, as seen in multiple social media posts shared throughout January.
