When the “All About That Bass” singer, 32, and her husband, Daryl Sabara, announced the birth of daughter Mikey Moon Trainor, she mentioned that their sons, Riley, 4, and Barry, 2, picked Mickey’s middle name.
The couple, who tied the knot on her 25th birthday in December 2018, included a photo of Riley and Barry giving a warm welcome to their newest family member.

“We are over the moon in love with this precious girl. Riley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name,” Trainor said in the caption of a joint Instagram post with her husband, 33.
“We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all,” they added.
In Mikey’s grand reveal, the couple said their baby girl was born via surrogate on Jan. 18, 2026.
The seven-photo Instagram carousel began with Trainor sitting teary eyed in a chair as she held the newborn close, in what appeared to be a skin-to-skin moment on her bare chest to promote bonding with her baby.
Riley and Barry were seen in the second image, saying “hello” to their new sibling.
“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” the captioned said, thanking the doctors, nurses and all involved “who made this dream possible.”
There were a couple of solo shots of Mikey in the round-up of images, as well as a selfie of the proud parents with their newest little one.

“We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family. We are over the moon in love with this precious girl,” they said, adding, “We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all.”
Sabara, who starred in the Spy Kids movies, also posted a few of the images to his Instagram Stories.
