Meghan Markle always owns the red carpet.
Last night, the Duchess of Sussex oozed glamour at the Paley Honors Fall Gala 2024, which was held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, in a black Oscar de la Renta strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline.
Styled by Jamie Mizrahi, the “Suits” alum, 43, dialed up the drama by piling on the diamonds — including a Logan Hollowell tennis necklace worth a whopping $33,000 and her trusty Lorraine Schwartz pinky ring.
She completed her look with Stuart Weitzman black suede heels ($475).
Markle showed her support for her friend Tyler Perry, who was honored by The Paley Center for Media. The actor and filmmaker is the godfather to Markle and Prince Harry’s 3-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet.
The duchess, who is also mom to 5-year-old son Archie, wore her long brown hair in a loose low bun, and opted for minimal eye makeup and a light pink lip.
Though Markle’s public outings have been somewhat rare the past few months, she’s expected to make a big splash in 2025.
The mother of two is slated to launch her solo Netflix show early next year, which will focus on “cooking, gardening, and entertaining.”
Markle is also gearing up to release her highly anticipated lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which she announced in March.
Friends and fellow celebrities Kris Jenner, Abigail Spencer, and Chrissy Teigen have endorsed the upcoming label on their social media, sharing aesthetically pleasing baskets of homemade jam and lemons, though questions remain about exactly when or what to expect.
The duchess has been appearing solo at lots of low-key events, including partying with friends in LA, hosting a Thanksgiving event with brand Our Place and at the Children’s Hospital LA Gala last month.
While her outings have sparked divorce speculation, Prince Harry broached the subject yesterday while speaking at the New York Times’ 2024 DealBook Summit in New York City, joking that they’ve heard these rumors “10 or 12 times” now.
