Maren Morris is a Grammy-winning singer and songwriter from Arlington, Texas, who first made waves in country music before expanding into a broader pop-influenced sound. Early in her career, she independently released music before moving to Nashville, where she wrote songs for major artists, including Tim McGraw. Her breakthrough came with her 2015 EP, which caught the attention of Columbia Nashville and led to the re-release of her hit single “My Church.” She followed that success with her debut album Hero in 2016, quickly becoming one of the genre’s biggest rising stars. Keith Urban later invited her to join him on tour, further boosting her profile.
