Macaulay Culkin is assuring his social media followers he treated his fiancée Brenda Song to a great birthday.
Near the end of her birthday on Thursday, March 27, Culkin, 44, shared a photo to Instagram of the Running Point star posing at the edge of a pool that overlooked the ocean.
“I know I waited until the end of the day, but I wanted to publicly show my love to @brendasong,” Culkin wrote in a caption to his post. “Today was her birthday. I just want you all to know that I did my best to give her the best day possible. It was light, simple, and delightful; just an amazing woman surrounded by her boys, flowers, and cake.”
“Let’s hope the next 18 1/2 years go as good as the last,” he added. “I love you.”
Culkin and Song began dating back in 2017 after they met on the set of the movie Changeland, which was directed by their mutual friend Seth Green. They have welcomed two children together — sons Dakota, 3, and Carson, whose birth Macaulay’s brother Kieran confirmed in March 2023. PEOPLE confirmed the couple’s engagement in January 2022.

To celebrate Song’s birthday in 2024, Culkin shared on social media that he and Song took a four-day trip to Nobu’s hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico, where he purchased a shirt that made him look like a hotel employee and masqueraded as Song’s personal attendant during their stay.
“I decided to spend my four days there masquerading as a: Poolside waiter; Housekeeper; Cabana boy; Room service attendant; Bell hop,” he wrote at that time, alongside photos of him pretending to serve Song with drinks, carry her luggage and deliver her towels.
