  • Lululemon suspended online sales of its Get Low leggings collection amid reports that the pants are sheer and “not squat proof”
  • The leggings are still available in stores and online in Europe
  • The latest move comes amid corporate changes for the athleisure brand

Lululemon has suspended online sales of a new leggings line amid customers’ complaints.

The athleisure retailer suspended online sales of its Get Low collection on Tuesday, Jan. 20, though supplies are still available in stores, according to Bloomberg. The outlet reports that customers claimed the leggings were too transparent and not “squat proof.”

“The leggings are absolutely see through when you squat or bend over (in every color way ). You can bring them in to any store and trade them for a different legging even if they have been worn fyi,” an anonymous user wrote on Reddit about the collection.

The Get Low collection has been “temporarily” removed from the North American version of Lululemon’s website, CBS News reported. A European version of the site still displays the leggings, which are available in eight colors and designed for “training.” They retail for €98 (or $114.99).

“These seamless tights offer a hugged feel and a defined look to your quads and glutes through every supercharged movement,” the description on Lululemon’s Europe-based website reads.

“Our Get Low collection is designed to support our guests as they train and features seamless technology to provide a sculpted look and feel in a weightless, fast-drying fabric,” Lululemon said in a statement to CBS News.

The pause in sales of the Get Low collection comes amid corporate shakeups at the company. CEO Calvin McDonald will step down at the end of January, Lululemon confirmed in December, per CBS News. Chief Financial Officer Meghan Frank and Chief Commercial Officer André Maestrini be the interim co-CEOs amid the brand’s extensive search for a new CEO and growing competition with retailers like Alo Yoga and Vuori.
