Lucy Hale has found her one true love…in the beauty industry.
The Pretty Little Liars alum, 37, was first introduced to Grande Cosmetics in 2010. Now, 16 years later, she’s become the brand’s first-ever brand ambassador—and is more than happy to call her and the brand’s special connection one of her “longest running relationships.”
PEOPLE caught up with Hale before the launch of her partnership to learn how her relationship with beauty has changed over the years and how the products fit into her routine now.
“I’m very honored to be the first face of GrandeLASH,” says Hale. “This merging of the both of us is very natural because it’s a product I naturally use and really believe in. It really works.”

Alicia Grande, who founded the brand in 2008, echos that sentiment.
“These were products she was already using, loving, and trusting, which was important for us when choosing our first brand ambassador because Grande is all about showcasing real people with real results, and this routine is a genuine part of her life,” the founder and CVP said in a release.
Hale is the face of the “Little Rituals, Big Impact” campaign, which Grande explained “reflects the belief that beauty doesn’t have to be complicated to be impactful; sometimes, the small rituals we make time for every day can be the ones that make us feel most like ourselves.”
As she’s gotten older, Hale has started to say to herself: “Okay, here’s what [I] have, how can I further enhance my own beauty?”—and she uses the ophthalmologist-tested GrandeLASH-MD serum and dermatologist-tested GrandeBROW serum to do just that.
“I’m very attached to my brows, I always have been,” explains Hale. “But also my lashes have gone through the ringer just with work and makeup and everything. So, just really nurturing them…It’s one swipe to longer-looking lashes and fuller-looking brows.”

The GrandeLASH-MD and GrandeBROW products can be applied anytime throughout the day, but Hale prefers to swipe them on before bed. “I think in the morning, I’m on the go,” she explains. “But I do it right after my skincare. It’s the last thing I do before I crawl into bed.”
In addition to her skincare routine, Hale also relies on healthy food and lots of hydration and sleep. She also prioritizes time with her two dogs, Elvis and Ethel —and always listens to her body.
“There are certain days where I do need stillness. I do need meditation. I do need to pray,” she explains. “And then there are other days where I’m like ‘I can’t sit still. I have to go for a walk.’ Whenever I can’t make a decision, I go for a walk.”

It’s because of her internal work that Hale is able to say there’s been a “big shift” in her relationship with beauty and skincare—especially as someone so present in the public eye. While her 20s were about “conforming to beauty standards,” her 30s have been about “self acceptance.”
“In my 20s, it was more about chasing this idea of perfection that is never enough, right? It’s like always going to be unattainable,” she says. “Whereas, I feel like there was a big shift in my 30s—and I think it happens for everyone—you sink into your skin a little bit more. You have more of an identity. You have more self-acceptance. I’m only more accepting of myself externally, so I do gravitate more towards like a natural vibe these days.”

Embracing said “natural vibe” is exactly where the GrandeLASH-MD and GrandeBROW products come into play for Hale. She feels that caring for her natural eyelashes and brows is the perfect way to elevate her beauty routine while still feeling like herself.
“Just little habits like taking care of my lashes and my brows and having a consistent skincare routine, they just make me feel better about myself,” she says. “And Grande was very good to me. I’m stashed up for the rest of my life.”
