Wedding bells won’t be ringing for one Love is Blind couple.
The hit Netflix series dropped a new batch of episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 25, as season 10 nears its end and the participants must decide if they are ready to say “I do.” With just two days left until the big day, Bri, 34, revealed to fiancé Connor, 32, that she knew her answer, and it wasn’t what he expected to hear.
“Do you think you are ready for marriage?” she asked, to which he confidently replied, “I am ready for it. Think I'll be a good husband, good father.”
Bri, however, wasn’t on the same page. “Transparently, when I came into your house, I see your car and I'm like, ‘This guy doesn't give a s— about anything. What does this mean about how he's gonna show up for a presentation of our house and our family and his job, and is he proud of it?’ ” she admitted. “I know it's such a silly thing about a house and a car, but like, what clothes you wear and how you present yourself. It doesn't have to be high-end, crazy things, but just have pride, and that's a reflection of you.”

Explaining that she interpreted his appearance as “lazy, like there’s no pride, there’s no hustle, there’s no grit," Bri recognized that it was a result of the type of men she's dated in the past who "out-alpha" her. She then commended Connor for showing her that she doesn’t need a man who overpowers her to feel secure in a relationship.
“We talk about challenge, and challenge shows up so differently,” she said. “Like, is it challenging me to get up at 6 o'clock and go to the gym and be disciplined about that? Maybe that's something that I would love for someone to encourage me to do. But also, is the challenge being able to accept just being loved for who I am?”
While Connor acknowledged that he doesn’t care about materialistic things, he explained that doesn’t mean he isn’t working toward buying “a nice house” and supporting his family someday. Bri agreed, expressing her regret for passing judgment on him.
“You've actually seen more of me, and I'm just very glad that you took the time, because not everybody does,” she shared. “My dad and I have had conversations, he's like, ‘Maybe you've been chasing the wrong thing, and you need to shift into something like that, where you can still lead, but you find somebody that's complementary and leads you in other ways.’ I just feel like I've been so critical and so analytical and trying to figure out if this is my husband, that I've lost sight of literally, the whole concept of ‘Is love blind?’ ”
She added: “I know you hustle, and I know that you're proud of what you've built for yourself, and I know you take pride in that. And I hated that I watered that down, because I do. It is incredible. You own a house, you have an established career. I know you've worked your a– off to get where you're at, and you are thinking about the future and what you can do with your career to support a family and do all those things. You have absolutely shown up for me in ways that I've never experienced before.”
Growing emotional, she went on to praise Connor for loving “every piece of me” under any circumstance, which is something she had never experienced before.
“The way that you make me feel loved is insane, even on my darkest days, or even when I'm literally feeling the most disgusting, you think I'm the most beautiful person in the world,” she cried. “However, I show up to you is enough. I'm trying to decide, are you the total package, or are you in my life to teach me how to be loved? Is this my person for the rest of my life? Is that true love? I can't go up to the altar and be like, ‘Yeah, question mark?’ Am I ready to walk down the aisle? No.”

Connor appeared caught off guard, sharing that he was ready to say "yes" at the altar.
“I have no issues saying that, and I'm not gonna be ashamed of that,” he added. “And I know you don't think anything less of me because I wanted to marry you.”

“If we can get through this, I hope that it's not a no forever,” Bri replied, going on to share her “hope” that she will see them getting married one day. “I can't say with certainty that he's not my person; that's the hard part. I hate that I have to say, ‘No, I'm not ready.’ I hate to be saying things like, ‘Are you a lesson to learn, or are you the love of my life?’ It's really hard to understand why I'm going backwards. I don't know why.”
Despite calling off the wedding, Connor and Bri declared their intentions to remain together and keep developing the relationship.
“You've told me you're wise this whole time, and you've directly communicated where you were at,” he told her. “I've never had that my entire life, and that's why I'm more excited to continue to grow, continue to prove that I'm gonna be there for you.”
“I mean, there's a reason that we fell in love sight unseen,” Connor concluded in his confessional. “That's something I'll remember forever — my entire life. And hopefully it's a connection that brings us even to the altar someday. I love her with all my heart, and I knew that before even seeing her. I think love is blind. It’s been a ride of a lifetime, so thank you.”
