Lauren Sánchez has shared a cryptic post about how some years get off to a turbulent start, but that doesn’t mean things won’t get better.
The philanthropist and former news anchor, 55, shared her thoughts about getting off to a bumpy start in an Instagram post on Monday, Feb. 10.
“Some years start with turbulence, but that’s just the wind reminding you to spread your wings,” she wrote alongside an image of herself seemingly piloting a helicopter.
“Here’s to flying farther than we ever imagined,” she added — and the comments section was filled with a number of supportive comments from friends.
Kris Jenner replied to her post with three red heart emojis, while singer Jewel wrote, “Fly high above the noise is the reminder I need ❤️🔥.”
PEOPLE reached out to a representative for Sánchez for additional information, but did not immediately hear back.
Although Sánchez’s post didn’t make it clear if she was referencing any specific turbulence in her own life, the white suit and lace bustier she wore to last month’s inauguration did cause a bit of a stir.

Sánchez, who attended the event alongside fiancé Jeff Bezos, found herself receiving some backlash from those who felt like the look was too risqué for the occasion — and she went on “like” several supportive comments on social media.

Sánchez, who released her first children’s book last year, previously detailed her hopes for the coming year as she said goodbye to 2024.
“Thank you, 2024 — reflecting on the challenges that shaped me, the wins that inspired me, and the amazing people who lifted me up,” Sánchez wrote at the time.
“This year, I embrace illumination, striving to help others find their light and shine their brightest in 2025 — a year of continued growth, shared light, and endless possibilities,” she added.
