- Kylie Kelce opened up about weaning her 8-month-old daughter, Finn, off breastfeeding on her Not Gonna Lie podcast
- The mother of four said Finn has breastfed for longer than any of her other kids
- She went on to declare “fed is best,” shutting down any critics of her choice
Kylie Kelce is setting a clear boundary when it comes to breastfeeding her 8-month-old daughter, Finn.
On Thursday, Dec. 18, during the latest episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, the mother of four shared that she is currently in the process of weaning her youngest daughter for one major reason — she’s about to cut a tooth.
“As selfish as this may sound, that’s where I draw the line. Aggressively,” the podcaster, 33, who shares her four daughters with husband Jason Kelce shared. “That’s aggressively where I draw the line. That’s where I’ve drawn the line for all of my other children. I’ve never breastfed a child past them getting teeth.”
Finn, who turns 9 months old on Dec. 30, is not taking to the weaning, according to her mom, despite the fact that she’s gotten more time breastfeeding than any of her siblings.

“I typically have breastfed our girls from anywhere between 7 and 8 months,” she said. “I think the longest that I’ve gone for any other child has been maybe a hair past eight months. Right now with Finny, this is the longest I have done it. Because it will take me at least a couple weeks to fully wean her.”
Kylie, who is also mom to Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 2, noted that after breastfeeding, she switched her children to formula.
“And guess what? I have a 6-year-old who is learning to read, who can write. She’s thriving,” Kylie said of Wyatt. “So anyone who has an opinion about how I choose to go about my breastfeeding journey and therefore my formula-fed journey, you can kindly get f—–. You knew it was coming.”

She also acknowledged that the ability to breastfeed is a privilege some mothers do not have.
“Just to be clear, this is my choice. And it might not be the choice that other people make,” she said. “And I would like to say, because I think it’s important to say this, I am very fortunate to have been able to breastfeed because I know that that’s not always everyone’s journey. Some people who want to cannot.”
As for her final stance on the topic, Kylie simply noted, “Fed is best. Let me say it one more time for emphasis. Fed is best. Best being the best that it can be.”
